This fella knows how to sit, is very treat-motivated, loves playing fetch, and would make a great walking, hiking, or jogging buddy. While he can be a little unsure when meeting new people at first, Lincoln does well once he gets comfortable and would easily thrive with a dog-savvy owner. He would probably be more comfortable around older kids. If you're willing to look past that kennel presentation, you'll find a loyal, fun-loving companion with a great balance of active and relaxed.
Lincoln is proof that first impressions can be misleading. In his kennel, he'll likely bark and seem a little intimidating, but outside the kennel he's a COMPLETELY different dog. At 4 years old and 67 pounds, Lincoln is friendly, affectionate, and enjoys spending time with his people. On recent field trips with volunteers, he took long walks without reacting to other dogs, greeted new people with a wagging tail, and showed just how easygoing he can be.
