Meet Duke
Breed: Staffordshire Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever
Color: Black/White
Age: 1.5 years
Sex: Male
Meet Duke, at just 1.5 years old and 60 pounds, Duke is that perfect in-between size—big enough for adventure, but still very much a cuddle bug when it’s time to relax.
Duke loves people and truly meets no strangers. In his foster home, he showed just how well-mannered he can be—no destroying, no chaos, just a happy, playful boy who knows when to turn it off and curl up in your lap. Whether you’re ready to throw a ball, play a round of tug, or kick back and watch a movie, Duke is always right there with you.
He’s very energetic and would thrive with an active, physically capable handler who’s excited to give him the exercise and engagement he craves. Duke already knows “sit” and is eager to keep learning. He did great with respectful kids ages 4, 7, and 10 and was incredibly tolerant and gentle, making him a wonderful family companion.
Duke enjoys other dogs but can be selective—especially with male dogs—so a meet & greet is required to make sure everyone is a good fit.
If you’re looking for a dog who can keep up with your adventures and still be your biggest snuggle buddy at the end of the day, Duke is ready to be your new best friend.
