Meet Chief — a 6-year-old beagle mix weighing in at 42 pounds and currently working hard on his fitness journey. This outdoorsy fella has spent most of his life enjoying the fresh air and would love a home where he can continue exploring, sniffing, and soaking up the sunshine. Chief is very friendly with people, enjoys attention, and doesn’t mind a good spa day either. Baths, brushing, pampering? He’s all in.
Meet Chief
Breed: Beagle
Color: White/Brown/Chocolate
Age: 6 years 9 months old, Adult
Sex: Male
Like many beagles, Chief likes to announce when strangers arrive, but once he realizes you’re a friend, he settles right down. He’s gentle on leash, easy to walk, and would prefer to be the only dog in the home. He has lived successfully with another dog before, but because he can be selective, a meet and greet is required for any potential canine roommates. Chief is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to meet his future family at the Williamson County Animal Center.
